Tidelands is amazing, please watch it
Tidelands is Australia’s first Netflix original and it’s the best Aussie show I’ve seen in a while. I’ve grown up really not liking a lot of what my country’s film Industry produces and supporting this show would help show that the industry doesn’t have to get stuck in stereotypes and the same concepts. The show is so good at portraying Australians as they actually behave (with some embellishment for plot reasons of course) and it has a lot of Australian actors.
More importantly than all that is the show being so f***ing good. There’s mythology and strong female characters and everyone’s hot tbh. I’d highly suggest watching it and tbh I’m lowkey begging for content.
